Electricity Projects
In May 2000 SD Partners was awarded the contract to operate as ELEXON's Entry Processes Agent, which was out-sourced from July 2000. This contract incorporated the responsibility for all aspects of BSC Entry Processes in England and Wales including:
- initial applicant briefings
- application processing
- test product and data maintenance
- test preparations
- on-site test witnessing
- reporting to PAB for final approval
In September 2002 the ELEXON Entry Process Agent contract was put out to tender in the European Journal. Following the procurement process, SD Partners was successful in retaining this contract for a further four year period.
ELEXON Assurance
SD Partners' consultants have been working within ELEXON in the areas of Technical Assurance and Market Entry for all types of participants in both the CVA and SVA Trading arrangements. This work is at both a management and a detailed level.
SD Partners' consultants have also been working in the Trading Disputes team analysing and resolving Disputes in the Live Trading Arrangements, during 2001 and 2002.
ELEXON Service Delivery
Since December 2000 SD Partners has provided a number of consultants to work within the Service Delivery team at ELEXON to examine problems in the live market, support Market Participants and to look for resolutions to Trading Arrangements issues with NETA, the CVA and SVA Trading Arrangements. This work requires a clear understanding of the operational electricity market at a ‘nuts and bolts' level, and a practical approach and prompt response to matters that may arise on a day-to-day basis.
