1998 TA and NETA
SD Partners consultants have undertaken Management, Analysis and Test roles within the NETA Programme providing support to the OFGEM NETA Programme team, Logica NETA Consortium and ELEXON BSCCo.
SD Partners has gained a thorough understanding of the business processes and the technical environments within which the Trading Arrangements operate and specifically the data which is passed from one party to another. With the evolving Trading Arrangements over the past five years we have been involved in key areas such as the introduction of the 1998 Trading Arrangements and Supplier Competition; 100kW Migration and Data Quality Issues; the introduction of NHH Agent Competition; NETA development and management support; 1998, TA2000 and NETA Operational support and Entry Processes (both SVA and CVA).
As well as providing advice and guidance to all the Entry Process participants, SD Partners has defined and specified the tests to be run and the definition of the expected results to be achieved for each. This required in depth knowledge of the Trading Arrangement processes and flows between all market participants. Testing consisted of:
- Arithmetic Accuracy
- Business Process Tests
- Performance and Assurance
- Data Migration
Because of our reputation within the industry we have been selected to work closely with various NETA teams and consortiums on NETA products and processes; ELEXON NETA assurance and risk assessment; live NETA support and issue resolution.
